Old times at parents’ house
This beautiful pot thing was in my parents’ front yard. I liked it.
Dad and I played some duets like old times.
Population
Here’s me with a big blow-up bat with which I was preparing to smack Fred, probably.
Here’s Fred riding a bike to the picnic we were going to have.
We had our picnic on a roof; here is me on the wall that is around the outside of the roof.
And here’s me on the wall again, because Fred seems to be camera-happy.
There’s Fred enjoying the food of the picnic.
There’s me, also picnicking.
After lunch we played my game, The Phantom Whistler. On a second-story roof, I whistle and then see if the people on the ground figure out where the sound is coming from.
These are some people we photographed who were walking by while I was whistling. Hehe!
There’s me populating! Another one of my pranks: I made little men out of clay and give them roof-pebble heads, and place them all over the music building in a mini-men invasion.
Fred helped. 🙂
Cooking with Fred
This is the next day. I was playing with a toy where you try to get the heavy thing to swing up and land on the peg. I had just won it here.
Here is Fred, exceedingly happy that he had finally managed to win with the toy. 🙂
We went to the store to get some ingredients for our cooking exploits. This is me outside Fred’s car–the one he drove from California to Michigan (school) and later down to Florida to visit me!
I’m putting away the eggs. Thrilling, innit?
We are preparing to cook honey cakes. Here is me with tools of the trade.
I guess I’m preparing the honey here.
Here is Fred cooking up the batter and frying the honey cakes!
Me with the finished honey cakes!
Fred developed a hobby of playing my keyboard while at my house. Here is him doing so.
Fred Visit Day 7
Fred goes back to California. 🙁
And then Fred went back to California, and I continued with my boring old week. 😛
Fred Visit Day 2
Shopping, Picnicking, and Poetry!
We did silly errands and then shopped at the mall for my sister’s birthday and Mother’s Day.
Then we went back to my house and got some picnic food, and we went onto the campus of my school. We got on the roof of the University Auditorium and had a picnic.
Fred and I then frolicked in the music building for a while. I played the piano and stuff and then we went home. I was tired so I napped, I think Fred napped a little bit too. Then we got up and went to the Kotobuki restaurant for Japanese food.
Then we went to famous Thursday Night Poetry Jam at the Civic Media Center.
When we went home we watched the movie Matilda and then went to bed sometime afterwards.
Fred’s Visit Day 1
Fred Arrives!
When Fred first got here, we spent a lot of time just flopping around in my room.
Then we just did other silly things around the house.
Then we went to Alley Katz, a cool bowling place with video games and pool tables too.
Then we went home to eat.
