We stayed over in Sarasota at my dad’s house after our mom’s viewing and had some yummy food at a restaurant (Ash was overwhelmed by a waffle!) and then they spent some time swimming and we even got to play Cards Against Humanity (family edition).
We got to come see Mom’s reef ball with the completed collar and the “pearl” inside which contained her ashes. We made rubbings of the plaque for ourselves and our mom’s siblings.
Our mom often made angel food cake for us for our birthdays. Her birthday is coming up so we made an angel food cake in her honor! All three of us worked on it.
My mother’s ashes were committed to the Eternal Reefs project. My family attended the casting where we put her ashes into a solution to make a “pearl” and also decorated the collar of the reef ball.

My sisters are smart at crosswords. They did one together.
Patricia convinced us to do one-minute contour drawings of each other without looking at the drawings. Here’s Lindsay’s friend Amber and Lindsay drawing each other.
