I found out you can put your stroopwafel on your hot coffee or tea cup and let it warm up a little before you eat it. They call it “waking up” the stroopwafel. I love it.
Jeaux treated me to a belated 48th birthday celebration by taking me to Vallarta’s (where I had my first ever horchata!) and baking me a birthday cake–grasshopper cake, which was minty frosting on chocolate cake!
