While introducing friends to Steven Universe, we had to have Cookie Cats. They ate the ears first, as God intended.

Jeaux decided it was sad that I never get cakes baked for me since I am the one who always bakes others’ cakes, so he decided to try baking his very first cake FOR ME. It’s a yellow cake with homemade buttercream frosting!

Art Museum, Sushi, and Mandola’s
Meg and I headed out to St. Pete to check out the art museum, and then we got sushi at a restaurant called Lemongrass, and then we went shopping and had dinner at Mandola’s. It was a very cold day so we huddled in our Comfy wearable blankets after!

Meggie’s birthday! We went to the Florida Aquarium and saw lots of cool creatures, and we also got some yummy cupcakes.

Went Bird Watching with Ben and Scott!
Ben and Scott and I went to Lettuce Lake Park to look at birds and then we ate at Queen of Sheba for Ethiopian food! My bird photos are not very high quality but theirs were.

Christmas Eve Dinner
Jeaux and I invited Dad and Connie over for Christmas Eve dinner! We made white bean pot pies, homemade dinner rolls, vegan scalloped potatoes, green bean casserole, whipped cauliflower, and homemade gravy. We had a gift exchange after dinner. And then there was a gingerbread roll and five kinds of homemade cookies!
