New Year’s Day Breakfast
Small gathering for New Year’s Day–my tradition of serving breakfast! We made waffles, mini omelets containing mushrooms and swiss cheese, hash browns, biscuits, soy bacon, sausage, and fruit. Mom, Jeaux, and Lindsay came.

Sister Lindsay and brother-in-law Mike were in town for the holidays so I had them over for Christmas Eve with Mom and Jeaux. Yummy dinner, but everything was kind of on the cold side. Bad management.

Had Mom and Jeaux over for Thanksgiving! Jeaux helped make all the food. Mom brought turkey and ham for the non-vegetarians. We had pie afterwards and Mom was knocked out.

Fifth Day in New York with Jeaux!
Our fifth day in the city included Strand indie bookstore (where Jeaux found a copy of my book on the shelf!), coffee with my coworker Deepa, pizza with my friend Amin, and a rooftop dinner at Peak (where we also got to go out onto the Edge), and a New York cheesecake for Jeaux from Ferrara’s!

Fourth day in New York with Jeaux!
Jeaux and I spent our fourth day in the city seeing a Broadway show (A Strange Loop), eating dinner on a rooftop (Haven), going shopping (Nintendo store and Midtown Comics), and getting frozen yogurt (Sixteen Handles)!
