We had a lovely New Year’s Eve at Mom’s. I went over to her house where my sister Patricia, brother-in-law Yusuke, and nephew Ash were staying, and we all lit sparklers, ate ice cream, roasted marshmallows, and played Uno together. We watched the ball drop and talked a little about resolutions!

Christmas Day happened at my mom’s house this year! Sister Patricia, brother-in-law Yusuke, and nephew Ash were staying with Mom. Sister Lindsay and brother-in-law Mike drove in to visit, and I brought friends Victor and Jeaux. Later Lindsay and Mike’s friend Ryan and Mom’s roomie David joined us.

I got to go see my dad and Connie for our holiday gathering 2018. I rode along with Patricia, Yusuke, and Ash, and we met Lindsay and Mike there. Much fun was had!

Sadly a very important element of my Garnet costume, the Gemstones, did not come in time for my Halloween party. I’d purchased them from an Etsy artist and there was a shipping glitch. They even tried to get the Gems to me with rush shipping, but it didn’t make it in time. It was not a huge deal though! I appreciated their effort. 🙂

Here for the first time are some “complete” Garnet poses. I hope I can use this costume for a convention next year.
